Inspired by local Gate Lodges, this compact dormer cottage house is in a remote and beautiful site in the Wicklow Mountains. Permission to build was only given to replace an existing derelict cottage and the new house sat on the footprint of the old cottage. A conservatory at the rear captured some winter sun.
